This original photo was taken in September 2009 at my friend Rick's garden during an outdoor party. I've cropped the image to a 16:9 widescreen ratio as a complement to some of my other works. This original photo was taken during August 2009 in the Pearl District of downtown Portland, Oregon during the Street of Dreams condominium tours. Some variety of sempervivum I believe, this shot is nearly untouched and uses the entire 16:9 widescreen image as taken. I've gone the next step to add an artistic painterly filter to soften the edges just a tad. Consider hanging in either portrait or landscape orientation. Filename: IMG_0137-rotated

Dogwood (1:2 ratio) This original photo was taken during April 2008 at my mom's place in Milwaukie, Oregon just south of Portland. I've cropped the image to a 1:2 ratio and upscaled it before adding a fresco artistic filter. This was taken in 2008 during a trip to Belknap Hot Springs along the McKenzie River in Oregon. This Hosta bloom was shot near the river on the way to the Secret Garden. This globe thistle reminds me of a strange plant you might see in some Dr. Seuss landscape. The full blooms only last a short while and are simply amazing!

Original image taken while visiting Palm Springs, California in March 2010. This flower was shot during a visit to the Living Desert Wildlife and Botanical Park in Palm Desert.
