Well, March and April have brought forth all the growth for a new Spring. This month marks a full year at the new job and a year of living in the house I purchased with my partner of 5 years. I've spent the past few weeks capturing images of flowers, plants, and trees on walks in my neighborhood and around the university where I work.

Over the week before Spring Break we had a nice vacation in Hawaii where I captured close to 600 images. Somewhere in there I can see a few gems that will make their way to new canvas art pieces in the coming months.

On our last day in Hawaii I had a chance to visit a road-side park near the lighthouse at Diamond Head on Oahu. That was the place I found some striking images of red bromeliads during our visit last year and this time I captured several more with some good close-ups for larger art pieces.

Today I also created a new post in the art blog showing some previous works on display. I'm really happy with the pieces Tony and Randy selected for their room. Check out the post for more information.
