I've been experimenting with posting an image ad through Google Adwords for my retro pink flamingo site on CafePress. So far the sales have only paid for the advertising, and I'm starting to think Google as a solution for advertising isn't working out for me, but I'll give it a bit more time.

I've improved the design since using it for the logo above. It meant the design lost its position in the rankings on CafePress, but it's still on the first page of hits when searching for "pink flamingo".

I think I had about as much fun creating the ad as setting up the products with the flamingo design.
