Rose City Artworks planning continues

Last month I secured Rose City Artworks as a business name and website. I'm backing up a bit now to create a business plan and learn more about the ins and outs of selling select pieces of my work in larger quantities. My focus for this business will be to distribute a select collection of my original images printed to framed ceramic tiles.

The markup isn't huge, but with a wholesale price of $14 I expect they will be doubled by the retail market to $28. If I could get my costs down, $24 would be a better target price. At any rate, I've been focusing on my canvas pieces but expect to get back on track for this endeavor and have an order form, logo, labels, and other necessary tracking and workflow components in place to begin marketing the framed tiles to local shops and elsewhere by early January 2009.
