Tan Republic purchase!

Great news! Tan Republic, the business where I've been showing several canvas art pieces since February, has sold. With the sale of the business, the new owner has purchased all of my work in order to maintain the decor that Randy and his designer friend worked to achieve.

Randy presented me with the check for 28 pieces over the weekend.

Now it's time to consider more printing supplies and to possibly make that leap to an SLR camera. I'd though about buying my own dye sublimation printing equipment and heat press too, so will mull this over for a while before making my next move.

Web gallery of images now available

My goal is to create a site where you can drag images around and compare them side-by-side to see which pieces might look good together hanging on a wall. Also, to be able to see my images printed in various formats as tiles mounted in frames, as glass magnets, prints, canvas art, and more all in one place. So, to start I'm pulling together all of these images on Flickr and exploring new ways to present them. Check out this gallery which uses SimpleViewer and FlickrViewer:

Magnets and tiles sent to Athens, GA

Recently I shipped about 33 pieces to a shop located in Athens, GA named Nourish. The store owner found me through my Etsy shop and this prompted me to create a few extra glass gem magnets and select a my favorite images on ceramic tile.

While I don't expect to make much off the sales, this is a great opportunity for me to learn more about selling my work through a consignment shop.
